CEOC publishes position paper on Market Surveillance

In its position from 19/09/2016, CEOC International strengthens the importance of regulatory market surveillance and independent third party testing, joining the VdTÜV position from 16/10/2015.

CEOC states in its position that market surveillance must encompass a consistent EU-wide application of the EU harmonisation legislation in order to create conditions for fair competition between the different market players. The aim of market surveillance is therefore to achieve smooth functioning and competitiveness within the Single Market whilst at the same time protecting the health and safety of European citizens.
