Arriving at the central station in Brussels (CENTRAAL STATION/GARE CENTRALE) please take the subway Metro line 1 or 5 heading East (n°1 to Stockel, n°5 to Herrmann Debroux) and get off at MAALBEEK/MAELBEEK. From there, you have to encounter a 5 minutes walk.

Travelling by plane

  • Take the bus n° 12 from Brussels airport Zaventem to the European Commission/sq. Schuman, get off at Ardooie Huis Nr. 62 and walk 850 mtrs from square SCHUMAN.
  • Take the IC train from Brussels airport Zaventem heading to Dinant or Charleroi-Sud and get off at the SCHUMAN station in Brussels. From there, you have to encounter a 10 minutes walk.

Travelling by car

  • Travelling via the E40
  • Liège (Dutch: Luik, German: Lüttich)
  • Leuven (French: Louvain)
  • Brussels (Dutch: Brussel; French: Bruxelles)
  • Take the central lane in the direction of Centre.
  • After travelling through the tunnel you will come to Avenue Cortenberg, which leads to the Schuman roundabout (Rond Point Schuman).
  • Take the third road on the right at the Schuman roundabout (= Rue Froissart).
  • At the first opportunity turn right into the Chaussée d'Etterbeek and follow it.
  • Immediately after the railway bridge, turn left into Rue Jacques de la Lalaing. Follow this road uphill until you cross the second intersecting street (Rue d’Arlon).

You will find the VdTÜV office in the second building on the right next to the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the European Union
